MISS LINDA ANN CARPENTER Of South River Peacefully at the Huntsville and District Memorial Hospital on Saturday June 20, 2009 at the age of 50 years. Linda Carpenter, beloved daughter of Ray Carpenter and the late Lois Carpenter (nee Brooks) of South River. Loving sister of George Carpenter (Fern) of South River, the late Anita Carpenter, her extended sisters Cathy Omand, Dayna Woodbury (Ron) and her life long closest friend Janis Brown of Hamilton. Cherished aunt of Jason (Amber), Jennifer (Darren), Jamie (Gillian) and Jennalee (Kade) Carpenter. Fondly remembered by her many aunts, uncles, cousins and friends. Family will receive visitors at the Opatovsky Funeral Home-Moore Chapel, 9 Paget Street, Sundridge on Tuesday June 23, 2009 from 7-9 P.M. A service to celebrate the life of the late Miss Linda Carpenter will be conducted in the chapel on Wednesday June 24, 2009 at 11:00 A.M. with dear family friend Larry Jeffery officiating. Interment at the Strong Cemetery, Sundridge, Ontario. If desired, memorial donations to the Canadian Diabetes Association or the Heart and Stroke Foundation would be sincerely appreciated by the family.
