Lily Leorna Bekesi

Passed away peacefully at Muskoka Landing on Thursday, January 6, 2022, she was in her 95th year.  Beloved wife of Robert Bekesi.
Cherished mother of Janet Carlsen.
Proud grandmother of Rakel Carlsen (David), Robert Bekesi and great-grandmother of Leora Gray.
Sadly missed by her siblings: Violet McHugh, Henry Schmeler (late Barbara) and David Schmeler (Jean).  She is predeceased by her parents Charles & Ida (nee Schneider) Schmeler and her siblings Ben, Rosie, Mabel and Eva.
Cremation will take place at Forest Lawn Crematorium.
A graveside service to celebrate Leora’s life will be held at a later date.
Followed by the internment at Chapman Cemetery.  If desired, donations to the Alzheimer’s Society.
Arrangements have been entrusted to the Opatovsky Funeral Home-Moore Chapel, 9 Paget Street in Sundridge.
