Doris Milne (nee Moore), beloved wife of the late Alvin Milne.
Dear mother of Lillian Fowler (Bill), late Rob Milne (late Gail), Joyce Buchanan (Clare), Ken Milne, Kevin Milne (Rachel) and Carla Lang (Mike).
Loving grandma of Spencer, Vance, Tyler, Ricky, Ryan, Dana, Keri, Jodi, Rory, Skye, Faith, Tyrel, Morgan, Dylan, Kelsey and great grandma of Elizabeth, Aubrey, late Michelle, Wesley, Stuart, Ethan, Stacie and Wesley.
Cherished sister of Rena Island (Mac) and sister-in-law of Lorne Scrivens and Violet Milne.
Predeceased by parents Bruce and Minnie Moore; brother Percy Moore; sisters Emily Holotuk (late Gordon), Hazel Schell (late Leonard), Madeleine Hill (late Cletus), Roxie Scrivens and brother-in-law Reginald Milne.
Fondly remembered by her many nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
Doris was a longtime member of the Strong Agricultural Society and a life long lover of horses.
Family will receive visitors at the Opatovsky Funeral Home - Moore Chapel, 9 Paget Street in Sundridge on Thursday May 12, 2016 from 2-4 and 7-9 P.M.
A service to celebrate the life of the late Mrs. Doris Milne will be conducted in the chapel on Friday May 13, 2016 at 2:00 P.M. with the Reverend Rick Callery officiating.
Interment at the Strong Cemetery in Sundridge.
