LEWIS B. HEISE of South River Peacefully with his family by his side at the Algonquin Grace Hospice in Huntsville on Tuesday August 5, 2014 in his 92nd year. Lewis Heise, beloved husband of Janet McLaren-Heise and the late Verna Lou Heise. Dear father of Mary-Lou Hanna (nee Heise) (Sherif), Dale Heise, Marlin Heise (Marnie), Owen Heise (Caroline) and stepfather of Ron McLaren (Meredith), Gary McLaren (Karen) and the late Carol Fogarty (Paul). Loving grandfather of Tim (Jeanette), Joy (Dan), Keith (Valerie), Lisa, Julie (Glen), Jay (Sheree), Landon and great grandfather of 15. Poppa Lew of Ryan (Andy), Patrick, Brendan, Jadah, Justin, Kate, Seamus, Ben and Gidget. Cherished brother of Anna Reesor (John), Lois Winger (Walter), Erma Sider (Harvey) and predeceased by Miriam Wenger (late Roy) and Harold Heise (late Verna Mae). Fondly remembered by his nieces, nephews, other relatives and many friends. Family will receive visitors at the Almaguin Missionary Church on Highway 124 on Friday August 15, 2014 from 2-4 and 7-9 P.M. A service to celebrate the life of the late Lewis Heise will be conducted in the church on Saturday August 16, 2014 at 11:00 A.M. with Pastor Andre Wedseltoft officiating. Interment at the Heise Hill Cemetery in Gormley, Ontario on Saturday August 16, 2014 at 4:00 P.M. with refreshments to follow. Arrangements have been entrusted to the Opatovsky Funeral Home - Moore Chapel, 9 Paget Street in Sundridge. If desired, memorial donations to the Algonquin Grace Hospice or Camp Kahquah would be sincerely appreciated by the family.
