MR. LESLIE SHERWOOD Of Burk's Falls Suddenly in Bracebridge on Saturday May 29, 2010. Mr. Les Sherwood was in his 58th year. Beloved husband and best friend of Ella (nee Thompson-Broeders). Dear father of Cathy Dickinson, Sandy Wheeler, Lisa Sherwood-Stewart (Brian), Leslie John Sherwood Junior (JR), Terri-Lynn Sherwood-Chapman (Rob) and Jessie Sherwood-Peyton (Paul). Proud grandfather of 14 grandchildren and 1 great grandchild. Brother to Oneida Tripp (late Bob), David (Sylvia), Thelma, Eileen and the late Ken. Loving son of the late Victor and Myrtle Sherwood. Les will be fondly remembered by all his family and friends. The family will receive visitors at the Opatovsky Funeral Home-Dempster Chapel, 210 Ontario Street in Burk's Falls on Tuesday June 1, 2010 from 11 am. until 1 p.m. A service to celebrate the life of the late Mr. Sherwood will be conducted in the chapel commencing at 1:00 p.m. on Tuesday June 1, 2010. Reverend's Graham and Freda MacDonald and Reverend Glen Eagle officiating. Cremation to follow with interment of cremated remains in the Burk's Falls Cemetery at a later date.
