LEO RAYMOND CHARRON "Butch" of Sprucedale and formerly of Dochester, Ontario. Passed away peacefully on June 8, 2017 at Algonquin Grace Hospice at the age of 75 years after a short battle with cancer. Butch was born in London, Ontario on January 30, 1942. He was a dedicated worker of the Ford Motor Company in St. Thomas, Ontario for 30 years. He then retired in Northern Ontario in 2000, finally settling in Sprucedale. Spending quality time with family and friends, being in the outdoors, hunting and fishing was what he enjoyed the most. He will be sadly missed by his wife Barbara (Zavitz) of 54 years, his daughter Christine O'Hara (Shayne) and grandchildren: Ben (Brandilea), Elizabeth, Victoria, Nick and Sheldon. Butch is survived by his sister Loretta (late Jack Ayerst) and brother Paul Charron. He will be fondly remembered by his many nieces, nephews and friends. A Celebration of Life will be held on Saturday June 24, 2017 from 1-3pm at the Sprucedale Community Center located at 31 William Street in Sprucedale. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations to Huntsville Hospice or to the Huntsville Hospital Foundation- Chemo Clinic would be sincerely appreciated by the family. Arrangements have be entrusted to the Opatovsky Funeral Home-Dempster Chapel, 210 Ontario Street in Burk's Falls.
