MRS. LENA ALDERSON (of Copper Cliff and Sundridge) Peacefully at the St. Joseph's Health Centre, Sudbury on Friday January 16, 2009 in her 100th year. Lena Alderson (nee Brear), beloved wife of Boyd Alderson of Copper Cliff. Dear Mother of Herman Bosley (Ruth) of Vankoughnet, Joy Warnholtz (Bill) of Whitestone and Judy Bartlett (Ernie) of Sudbury. Loving grandmother of Gail Dillon (Pat), Denise Milic (Peter), Glenda Bosley, Gay Tilson (Rob) and seven great grandchildren. Fondly remembered by her nieces, nephews and many friends. Family will receive visitors at the Opatovsky Funeral Home-Moore Chapel, 9 Paget Street, Sundridge on Sunday January 18, 2009 from 7-9 P.M. A service to celebrate the life of the late Mrs. Lena Alderson will be conducted at the Zion Untied Church, Sundridge on Monday January 19, 2009 at 12:00 P.M. with the Reverend Lori Campbell officiating. Spring interment at the Chapman Cemetery, Magnetawan, Ontario. If desired, memorial donations to the Zion United Church Memorial Fund would be sincerely appreciated by the family.
