MR. LAWRENCE ELLIOT HAGGART OF SOUTH RIVER Peacefully at the North Bay General Hospital-McLaren Site on Thursday December 4, 2008 in his 81st year. Loving father of Richard Haggart (Bonnita). Cherished grandfather of two grandchildren and two great grandchildren. Dear brother of Clifford Haggart (Nellie) of South River and Fred Haggart (Phyllis) of Sundridge. Predeceased by his parents Fenton and Mary (Smith) Haggart, sisters Annie, Myrtle, Edna, brothers Roy and Fenton. Fondly remembered by his many nieces, nephews, friends in the area and very special friend Sandra Rhame. Family will receive visitors at the Opatovsky Funeral Home-Moore Chapel, 9 Paget Street, Sundridge on Saturday December 6, 2008 from 2 - 4 and 7 - 9 P.M. The members of the Royal Canadian Legion Branch #467, Sundridge are asked to gather in the Chapel for a Tribute Service on Saturday at 6:30 P.M. A service to celebrate the life of the late Mr. Lawrence Haggart will be conducted in the Chapel on Sunday December 7, 2008 at 2:00 P.M. with the Reverend Rick Callery officiating. Spring interment at Strong Cemetery, Sundridge. If desired, memorial donations to the Canadian Cancer Society would be sincerely appreciated by the family.
