MR. KENNETH MICHAEL O'DOHERTY of Sundridge and formerly of Richmond Hill Peacefully at Algonquin Grace Hospice in Huntsville on Tuesday May 2, 2017 in his 82nd year. Kenneth Michael O'Doherty, beloved husband for 61 years of Shirley O'Doherty (nee Campbell). Loving father of Karen, Sheila, Elaine and Paul (Tiffini). Proud grandfather of Jennifer (Justin), Ryan, Ashley (Ian), Logan and great grandfather to Gracyn. Ken was deeply devoted to his family and friends and will forever leave his mark on the lives of everyone he met. He had an incredible sense of humour with the ability to light up any room. He was the rock of the family and everyone's go to person for everything; always making sure everyone was taken care of and safe. His happiest moments were those surrounded by family and loved ones. A service to celebrate the life of the late Mr. Ken O'Doherty will be conducted at Our Lady of Grace Catholic Church, 15347 Yonge Street in Aurora on Friday May 12, 2017 at 10:30 A.M. If desired, memorial donations to the Algonquin Grace Hospice in Huntsville would be sincerely appreciated by the family. Arrangements have been entrusted to the Opatovsky Funeral Home - Moore Chapel, 9 Paget Street in Sundridge.
