MRS. KAYE STRAKA of Sundridge and formerly of North Bay Peacefully with her family by her side at the Royal Victoria Hospital in Barrie on Wednesday October 12, 2016 in her 78th year. Kaye Straka (nee Currier), beloved wife of John Straka. Dear mother of Wendy Kellar (Gilbert), Heidy Fonk (Rob) and Mike Straka (Carmia). Loving grandmother of Dustin, Natasha, Brianna, Sarah, Branden and great grandmother of Lily, Avery, Landon, Ayden and Sophie. Fondly remembered by her mom June Currier, sisters Judy Currier-Davis (Brad), Barb Currier-Arseneau (Paul) and her nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. Predeceased by her brother Ralph Currier. Arrangements are being handled privately with the family and have been entrusted to the Opatovsky Funeral Home - Moore Chapel, 9 Paget Street in Sundridge. If desired, memorial donations to the Heart and Stroke Foundation or the Almaguin All Animal Rescue would be sincerely appreciated by the family.
