Passed away on July 9, 2023 following a very short illness. He was in his 67th year. Beloved husband of 46 years to Velma Armstrong (nee Jacobs), Dear father to Dan (Jodie) Armstrong, the late Lainie Sallmen (2015), Ricky Armstrong (Miranda) and father-in-law to Jason Sallmen (Lynn). Proud Papa to Taylor Armstrong, Lucas, Logan and Jaydan Sallmen, Kaelyn and Jackson Armstrong and Clayton and Ryley Digiacomo. Kaye will be sadly missed by his sisters Fay Collard (Murray) and Dianne Lenarduzzi (the late Carl, 2021), mother-in-law Barbara Jacobs, brothers and sisters-in-law and many nieces and nephews.

As per Kaye’s wishes, cremation has taken place with a private family gathering at a later date. Arrangements have been entrusted to the Opatovsky Funeral Home-Dempster Chapel.

The family would like to express their extreme gratitude to Dr. Harrold, Pam Benn, and the entire Hope Huntsville Palliative Care Team and Care Partners for their compassion and excellent care.   If desired, donations to the Algonquin Grace Hospice would be gratefully acknowledged as expressions of sympathy.
