MRS. JOYCE BUCHANAN of Sundridge Suddenly and peacefully with her family by her side at the North Bay Regional Health Centre on Friday May 13, 2016 in her 64th year. Joyce Buchanan (nee Milne), beloved wife of Clare Buchanan. Dear mother of Dana Clouthier (André), Keri Clark (Ross), Jodi Fisher (Trevor), Rory Buchanan (Jennifer) and Skye Dell (Bob). Loving grandma of Stuart and Ethan Buchanan; and Stacie and Wesley Fisher. Cherished sister of Lillian Fowler (Bill), Ken Milne, Kevin Milne (Rachel), Carla Lang (Mike) and niece of Rena and Mac Island, Lorne Scrivens and Violet Milne. Predeceased by parents Alvin and Doris Milne; brother Rob Milne and sister-in-law Gail Milne. Fondly remembered by her many nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. Joyce was a lover of country music, horses, dogs, purses and clocks. Family will receive visitors at the Opatovsky Funeral Home - Moore Chapel, 9 Paget Street in Sundridge on Tuesday May 17, 2016 from 2-4 and 7-9 P.M. A service to celebrate the life of the late Mrs. Joyce Buchanan will be conducted in the chapel on Wednesday May 18, 2016 at 2:00 P.M. with the Reverend Rick Callery officiating. Interment at the Strong Cemetery in Sundridge. If desired, memorial donations to the Heart and Stroke Foundation would be sincerely appreciated by the family.
