MR. JOHN "JACK" WOOD (of Sundridge, formerly of Magnetawan) Peacefully at the Huntsville District Memorial Hospital on Thursday July 1, 2010 in his 83rd year. John Wood, was in his 60th year of marriage to Doris Wood (nee Curphy). Dear Dad of Deborah (Randy - deceased) of Erin, Richard (Mayumi) of Osoyoos, B.C., Iain (Judith) of Cardiff Wales and Robert (Debra) of Langley, B.C. Loving grandfather of Greg, Rick, Jeff, Daphne and Gabe. Fondly remembered by his many friends in the area. Arrangements for the late Mr. John Wood are being handled privately with the family and have been entrusted to the Opatovsky Funeral Home - Moore Chapel, 9 Paget Street, Sundridge, Ontario. A service to celebrate John's life will be held at a later date. If desired memorial donations to the Heart and Stroke Foundation or a charity of your choice would be sincerely appreciated by the family.
