JOHN STROUD of Sundridge Suddenly but peacefully at his home in Sundridge with his loving wife at his side on Sunday May 20, 2018 at the age of 49. John Stroud, beloved husband of Gwen Lord. Loving dad of Allan Stroud, Chantel Stroud (Josh Griffiths) and Courtney Stroud. Proud poppy of Hailey, Braiden and Brannick. Cherished brother of Danny, Theresa, Terry and predeceased by brother Martin and parents Richard and Holwyn Stroud. Fondly remembered by his other relatives and many friends. Family will receive visitors at the Opatovsky Funeral Home - Moore Chapel, 9 Paget Street in Sundridge on Thursday May 24, 2018 from 11 A.M. - 1 P.M. A service to celebrate the life of the late John Stroud will follow in the chapel at 1:00 P.M. with David Woodall officiating. If desired, memorial donations to the family would be sincerely appreciated and may be made at the funeral home.
