MR. JOHN JAMES REECE of Burk's Falls Suddenly at his residence on Thursday May 22, 2014. Mr. John Reece, beloved husband of Sandra (nee Anderson) was in his 78th year. Dear father of Tim Reece, Joy Sanderson (Lee), Robert Reece (Petry) and Cheryl Elrick. Stepfather of Mark Anderson (Angie) and Shari Anderson (Mike). Proud grandfather of 11 grandchildren and 2 great grandchildren. John is survived his sister Margaret Vittoria (Richard) and predeceased by siblings Fred, Bill, Harry, Tom, Toots and he will be fondly remembered by all of his family and friends. The family will receive visitors at the Opatovsky Funeral Home-Dempster Chapel, 210 Ontario Street in Burk's Falls on Monday May 26, 2014 from 11 a.m. until 1:00 p.m. A service to celebrate the life of the late Mr. Reece will be conducted in the chapel commencing at 1:00 p.m. on Monday May 26, 2014 with Reverend Lori Campbell officiating. If desired, in lieu of flowers, memorial donations to the Heart and Stroke Foundation of Canada or the Alzheimer's Society would be sincerely appreciated by the family.
