JOHN FREDRICK T. CRAWFORD of Three Mile Lake Peacefully at Huntsville District Memorial Hospital on Thursday March 2, 2017. John Crawford, beloved husband of Dona (nee McNay) for 50 years, was in his 78th year. Dear father of William Crawford (Janice) and Erin Crawford (Steve Cecchetto). Proud grandpa of Joelle and Gabby Crawford. John is survived by his brother, Bill Crawford (late Zandra); sister, Ellie Van Vliet (Bruce) and will be fondly remembered by his many nieces, nephews other family and friends. The family will receive visitors at the Opatovsky Funeral Home-Dempster Chapel, 210 Ontario Street in Burk's Falls on Monday March 6, 2017 from 1 to 3 p.m. and 6 to 8 p.m. A service to celebrate John's life will be conducted in the chapel commencing at 11:00 a.m. on Tuesday March 7, 2017 with Reverend Christopher Davis officiating. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations to the Asthma Society of Canada or a charity of your choice would be sincerely appreciated by the family.
