MRS. JOEY JACOBS Of Burk's Falls Suddenly at Huntsville District Memorial Hospital on Saturday January 21, 2012. Mrs. Joey Jacobs was in her 93rd year. Beloved wife of the late Gordon Jacobs. Dear mother of Lorilee Taylor (Jeff) of Field. Cherished grandmother of Jesse (Sophie), Corry (Enzo) and the late Shane Gordon. Joey is survived by her sister Anne Weiler of Walkerton, sister in laws Florence Jacobs and Florence Sebert both of New Hamburg, Dorothy Jacobs and Inez Voll (Arnold) both of Waterloo. Joey will be fondly remembered by her many nieces, nephews, other family and friends. The family will receive visitors at the Opatovsky Funeral Home-Dempster Chapel, 210 Ontario Street in Burk's Falls, Ontario on Monday January 23, 2012 from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Parish prayers will take place in the funeral home on Monday evening at 6:45 p.m. Mass of the resurrection will be celebrated in the Church of the Holy Spirit in Burk's Falls commencing at 11:00 a.m. on Tuesday January 24, 2012. Father John Albao officiating. Interment in Memory Gardens Cemetery in Breslau, Ontario at 11:00 a.m. on Wednesday January 25, 2012.
