JOE METCALF of Burks Falls After a struggle with depression, Joe left this world on Sunday March 26, 2017, he was in his 46th year. Proud father of Katelyn Newton and Jordan Newton (Katelyn). Loving grandfather of Riley, Ariannah, Meadow and Channing. Dear son of Jean and the late Bill Metcalf; brother of Lynn (Scott Campbell), uncle of Jacob; grandson of Ross and the late Doris Metcalf and the late Genevieve and Ralph Stephenson. Joe will be missed by his aunts, uncles, cousins and many friends. The family will receive visitors at the Opatovsky Funeral Home - Dempster Chapel, 210 Ontario Street in Burk's Falls on Friday March 31, 2017 from 7-9 P.M. and on Saturday April 1, 2017 from 10-11 A.M. A service to celebrate Joe's life will be conducted in the chapel commencing at 11:00 A.M. on Saturday April 1, 2017 with Reverend Rick Callery officiating. If desired, memorial donations to the Canadian Mental Health Association would be sincerely appreciated by the family.
