MRS. JOAN AGATHA MOWATT (nee Fulford) of Sundridge Peacefully at the Huntsville District Memorial Hospital on Thursday November 18, 2010. Mrs. Joan Mowatt was in her 86th year. Beloved wife of the late Archie Mowatt. Dear mother of William of Toronto, David (Elizabeth) of Sundridge and Marguerite Empson (Brian) of Belleville. Cherished grandmother of Michael, Melanie, David, Daniel, Willow and Jasper. Great grandmother of many great grandchildren. Joan is survived by brother Ewart John Fulford (Theresa) and brother in law Doug Mowat and predeceased by sisters Patricia Huff, Marian Murray and brothers Wilbert, Lorenzo and Ambrose Fulford. The family will receive visitors at the Opatovsky Funeral Home-Dempster Chapel, 210 Ontario Street in Burk's Falls on Sunday November 21, 2010 from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Parish Prayers will take place in the funeral home Sunday afternoon at 2:00 p.m. Mass of the resurrection will be celebrated in the Church of the Holy Spirit in Burk's Falls commencing at 11:00 a.m. on Monday November 22, 2010.
