MRS. JOAN FLORENCE CARLSON of Sundridge and South River Peacefully at Cassellholme in North Bay on Thursday February 1, 2018 in her 87th year. Joan Carlson (nee Mowatt and Epple), beloved wife of the late David Carlson. Dear mother of Marie Kean (Brian), Marlene Blackwell (Keith), Cindy Poch and stepmother of Nancy Carlson (Paul Weldon) and the late Craig Carlson. Loving grandma of Jerry (Angela), Les (Anne), Yvonne (Dennis), Amanda, Rachael (Kevin), Ashley (Frank), Natalie (Jason) and many great grandchildren and great great grandchildren. Cherished sister of Jeane, Joyce, Gloria, Faye, Don and predeceased by brother Jack and sister Eileen. Fondly remembered by the Carlson Family, the Epple Family, nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. Spring interment at the Strong Cemetery in Sundridge. Arrangements for the late Mrs. Joan Carlson are being handled privately with the family and have been entrusted to the Opatovsky Funeral Home - Moore Chapel, 9 Paget Street in Sundridge.
