MISS JOAN ELIZABETH BEATON Of Kearney Peacefully at Algonquin Grace Hospice in Huntsville on Friday December 22, 2017. Miss Joan Beaton was in her 85th year. Beloved daughter of the late Charles and Daisy Beaton. Dear sister of Tom (Edna), Jean and predeceased by brother Jim and sisters Margaret and Audrey. The family will receive visitors at the Opatovsky Funeral Home-Dempster Chapel, 210 Ontario Street in Burks Falls on Wednesday December 27, 2017 from 12 p.m. until 1:00 p.m. A service will follow in the funeral home commencing at 1:00 p.m. with Reverend Nina Fulford officiating. Spring interment in Knox United Cemetery in Kearney. If desired, memorial donations to Sleeping Children Around the World would be sincerely appreciated by the family.
