JIM PHILLIPS of Burk's Falls Peacefully at Algonquin Grace Hospice in Huntsville on Tuesday July 12, 2016. Jim Phillips, beloved husband of Helen, was in his 79th year. Dear father of Raymond, Wesley (Carol), Brenda (Carl), Linda (Keith) and Sharon (Rob). Proud grandfather of Matthew, Michelle, Bradley, Christina, Melissa, Anthony, Tanicia, Jordan and the late Carl Jr. Great grandfather of Louis, Freddie, Caden, Cooper and one more impending arrival. Jim will be fondly remembered by his siblings, other family, friends and his favorite pet, Bud. The family will receive visitors at the Opatovsky Funeral Home-Dempster Chapel, 210 Ontario Street in Burk's Falls on Saturday July 16, 2016 from 2 p.m. until 3:30 p.m. A service to celebrate the life of the late Mr. Phillips will follow in the chapel commencing at 3:30 p.m. with David Woodall officiating. If desired, memorial donations to the Algonquin Grace Hospice would be sincerely appreciated by the family.
