MR. JIM PETTIT of Magnetawan Suddenly as his home in Magnetawan on Saturday March 22, 2014. Mr. Jim Pettit, beloved husband and best friend of Dianne, was in his 71st year. Jim is survived by his sister Judy Barnes and will be fondly remembered by all of his family and friends. A celebration of life will be conducted at the Magnetawan Friendship Club from 1 to 3 p.m. on Saturday May 3, 2014. Arrangements have been entrusted to the Opatovsky Funeral Home-Dempster Chapel, 210 Ontario Street in Burk's Falls. Interment in Spence Cemetery at a later date. If desired, memorial donations to the Heart and Stroke Foundation would be sincerely appreciated by the family.
