JIM HADFIELD of Sundridge Peacefully at the Huntsville District Memorial Hospital on Tuesday October 28, 2014 in his 88th year. Jim Hadfield, beloved husband of the late Martha "Shorty" Hadfield (nee Sinclair). Dear father of Lloyd, Danny, Ted, Ralph, Jim and Dave. Loving grandfather of Lisa and great grandfather of Bella and Emma. Cherished brother of Jerry Hadfield. Fondly remembered by his daughters-in-law, nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. Family will receive visitors at the Opatovsky Funeral Home - Moore Chapel, 9 Paget Street in Sundridge on Saturday November 1, 2014 from 11:00 A.M. - 1:00 P.M. A tribute service of the Royal Canadian Legion Branch #467 will be conducted in the chapel on Saturday November 1, 2014 at 1:00 P.M. followed by a service to celebrate the life of the late Jim Hadfield. Interment at the Strong Cemetery in Sundridge. If desired, memorial donations to the Community Care Access Centre would be sincerely appreciated by the family.
