MR. JIM GAVEL Of Kearney Suddenly at Sunnybrook Health Sciences Centre in Toronto on Monday January 16, 2012. Mr. Jim Gavel was in his 75th year. Beloved husband of Marlene (nee Ferrante). Dear father of John Gavel of Toronto. Jim is survived by his siblings, Enos, Lorna, Marilyn, sister in law Vi and will be fondly remembered by all his family and friends. The family will receive visitors at the Opatovsky Funeral Home-Dempster Chapel, 210 Ontario Street in Burk's Falls on Friday January 20, 2012 from 7 to 9 p.m. A service to celebrate the life of the late Mr. Gavel will be conducted in the chapel commencing at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday January 21, 2012 with Pastor Richard McQuillin officiating. Cremation has taken place. If desired, memorial donations to a charity of your choice would be sincerely appreciated by the family
