James Villemaire

JAMES C. VILLEMAIRE of Sprucedale James C. Villemaire passed away in his 83rd year at his home at Don's Pond on Saturday, September 16th in the arms of his dear wife Doris (Brazier) in their 60th year of marriage. James was a retired O.P.P for 36 years retiring as Inspector and later served as a Volunteer at the Huntsville Hospital for 15 years. He was the proud father of his children; Carolyn Elsey (Bill), Lisa Dodsley (Rob) and David Villemaire. his son Donald James died November 1981. He has 3 grandchildren, Kaela Elsey, Autumn Alkins (Mitch), Kasia Elsey and one great grandchild, Landon Alkins. James has 2 brothers Mervyn (Claudette), Donald and a sister Marie Louise. He is predeceased by his parents Tom and Josie Villemaire, his brother Jerome, a brother-in-law, John Cran, a sister-in-law Irene Griener and Doris' parents Clarence and Angela Brazier. The family will receive visitors at the Opatovsky Funeral Home-Dempster Chapel, 210 Ontario Street in Burk's Falls on Saturday September 30, 2017 from 10 a.m. until 11 a.m. A service to celebrate Jim's life will follow in the chapel with Jim's cousin, Reverend Patrick M. Dobec presiding. If desired, memorial donations may be made to the Huntsville Hospital Auxiliary.
