MR. JAMES TOWLE of Burk's Falls Peacefully at Huntsville District Memorial Hospital on Monday July 28, 2014. Mr. Jim Towle, beloved husband of the late Reta Towle, was in his 84th year. Loving father of Bill Towle (Jody) and Shelley Armstrong (Dave). Proud grandfather of Sydney, Jack, Hunter, Nathan and Anna. Dear brother of Harvey, Betty and Fran and predeceased by Toots, Doreen and Hez. Sincere gratitude to Marlene Miller for all her care and compassion. Jim will be fondly remembered by all of his family and friends. The family will receive visitors at the Opatovsky Funeral Home-Dempster Chapel, 210 Ontario Street in Burk's Falls on Wednesday July 30, 2014 from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. A service to celebrate the life of the late Mr. Towle will be conducted in the chapel commencing at 11:00 a.m. on Thursday July 31, 2014 with Reverend Donna Bowman-Woodall officiating. Private interment in the Burk's Falls Cemetery. If desired, memorial donations to the Canadian Cancer Society or the Huntsville Hospital Foundation would be sincerely appreciated by the family.
