Peacefully at his home, surrounded by his loving family, on Monday October 14, 2019 at the age of 87.
Jim Nicholls, beloved husband of Margaret "Peggy" Nicholls and the late Nancy Nicholls.
Loving dad of the late Jimmy Nicholls (Dianna), Danny Nicholls (Laura), Cindy Craig (Shawn Kelly) and Debbie Schmeler (Paul).
Proud grandpa of Trevor, Donald, Tristan, Jennifer, Jeffrey, Melanie, Melissa, the late Kyle, Chad and great-grandpa of 15.
Cherished brother of Russell, Ruth and twin sister Jean.
Fondly remembered by the Hammond family, nieces, nephews, other relatives and many friends.
Family will receive visitors at the Opatovsky Funeral Home - Moore Chapel, 9 Paget Street in Sundridge on Thursday October 17, 2019 from 7-8:30 P.M. and at the Sundridge Church of Christ on Highway 124 in Sundridge on Friday October 18, 2019 from 10-11 A.M.
A service to celebrate the life of the late Mr. Jim Nicholls will follow in the church at 11:00 A.M. with Mr. Steve May officiating.
Interment at the Strong Cemetery in Sundridge.
If desired, memorial donations to Hospice Huntsville or the Canadian Cancer Society would be sincerely appreciated by the family.
The Nicholls family would like to express their gratitude to Angie, Marjorie and Sabrina.  Because of these angels, Jim's final wish was able to be fulfilled.
