Jim Main, beloved husband of Madeleine Main (nee Tanguay) of Sundridge. Dear father of James (Judy) of Sundridge, Robert (Joan Gallagher) of Midland, Elizabeth (Fred Yagi) of Toronto, Christine of Toronto and Andy (Anna) of Ottawa. Loving grandfather of James, Steven, Catherine, Michael, Betony, Brendan, Jonathan, Robert, Michelle, Christina, Christopher, Alyssa and great grandfather of Madilyn, Jack and Lyla Shea. Fondly remembered by his many friends in the area. Family will receive visitors at the Opatovsky Funeral Home - Moore Chapel, 9 Paget Street, Sundridge on Wednesday February 11, 2009 from 2-4 and 7-9 P.M. Members of the Royal Canadian Legion Branch # 467 Sundridge will conduct a tribute service in the chapel Wednesday evening at 6:30 followed by evening prayers led by Father Adolphus Chukwuka. A mass of Christian burial to celebrate the life of the late Mr. Main will be conducted at St. Augustine's Roman Catholic Church in South River on Thursday February 12, 2009 at 9:30 A.M. with Father Adolphus Chukwuka officiating. Spring interment at the Strong Cemetery, Sundridge, Ontario. If desired, memorial donations to the C.N.I.B. would be sincerely appreciated by the family.
