d. January 27, 2018

JAMES EDWARD ROBIN GRAU of Sundridge It is with heavy hearts and profound sadness that the family of James Edward Robin Grau announce his passing on January 27th, 2018 at the age of 61. Until M.S. struck, Jim was an enthusiastic jogger and sailor in his sailboat on Lake Erie. Cherished son of Ethel W. Pyle and the late Stanley A. Pyle. Loving father of Lyndsy Adamson-Moubarak(Paul) and loving grandfather of their sons Michael Noah and Jonhan James. He will be deeply missed by his sisters Amy Jean-Anne Grau, Belinda Helen Grau-Pyle and his brother Rudolph Antony Grau-Pyle. His cherished Black Poodle Smerf; his constant companion in his wheel chair, already misses him. Jim will be missed and fondly remembered by many aunts, uncles, nephews, nieces, cousins and several great friends. As Jim requested, there will be no funeral. Interment at Bow's Cemetery in Machar Township in spring of 2018. Arrangements have been entrusted to the Opatovsky Funeral Home - Moore Chapel, 9 Paget Street in Sundridge. Donations in Jim's memory may be made to the Multiple Sclerosis Society of Canada, the Canadian Cancer Society or Huntsville Hospice and would be sincerely appreciated by the family. Special thanks to the Paramed nurses: Cynthia O'Brien and Joe Callery; Dr. Deb Harrold of the Huntsville Palliative Care Team and our family doctor, Dr. Nel of the Burk's Falls Family Heath Team. Also, immense gratitude for the last three years of care from Jim's Personal Support Workers: Sarah, Julie and Ron. I could not have done it without all of you.
