MRS. IRENE OSTENSOE of Huntsville and formerly of Sprucedale Peacefully at Muskoka Landing in Huntsville on Sunday March 8, 2015 in her 99th year. Irene Ostensoe (nee Schmidt), beloved wife of the late John M. Ostensoe. Dear mother of Shirley Graham (late Lorne), John J. Ostensoe (Faye), Gail Duchesne (late Norman), Wiane Poalini and predeceased by son Buster McLean and daughter Jessie Graham (late Douglas). Loving grandmother of 15 grandchildren and many great grandchildren. Fondly remembered by her many nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. A graveside service to celebrate the life of the late Mrs. Ostensoe will be conducted in the Sprucedale Cemetery commencing at 3:30 P.M. on Saturday May 2, 2015 with Pastor Rick Callery officiating. Arrangements have been entrusted to the Opatovsky Funeral Home - Dempster Chapel, 210 Ontario Street in Burk's Falls. Spring interment at the Sprucedale Cemetery. If desired, memorial donations to the Huntsville District Memorial Hospital or the charity of your choice would be sincerely appreciated by the family.
