MRS. INA MYRTLE BROOKS Of Powassan and formerly of North Bay Suddenly at Eastholme in Powassan on Saturday April 5, 2014 in her 83rd year. Ina Brooks (nee Robins), beloved wife of Oliver Brooks of Powassan. Dear mother of Diane Reid (late Rick), Debra Nadeau (Andre) and the late Dwight Brooks. Loving mother-in-law of Bernice Brooks. Cherished sister of Norman Robins (Bella) and predeceased by brother Levi (late Ann) and sister Grace (late Aub). Fondly remembered by her many grandchildren, great grandchildren, nieces, nephews, cousins and many other relatives and friends. The family will receive visitors at the Opatovsky Funeral Home-Moore Chapel, 9 Paget Street in Sundridge on Wednesday April 9, 2014 from 2-4 and 7-9 P.M. A service to celebrate the life of the late Mrs. Ina Brooks will be conducted in the chapel on Thursday April 10, 2014 at 11:00 A.M. with the Reverend Rick Callery officiating. Spring interment at the Strong Cemetery in Sundridge. If desired, memorial donations to the charity of your choice would be sincerely appreciated by the family.
