MRS. IDA SOHM (Of Lount Township) Peacefully at Cassellholme-Home for the Aged, North Bay on Sunday February 21, 2010 in her 92nd year. Ida Sohm (nee Maeck), beloved wife of the late Willard Sohm. Cherished mother of Gerald (Nadine), Ron (Linda), Arn (Dianne), Allen, Cindy (Ian) and predeceased by son Howard. Dear mother-in-law of Wendy. Loving grandmother of Colin, Kevin, Jenni, Laurie, Sean, Joanna, Mark, Tory and great grandmother of Sara, Shannon, Katherine, Julia and Alexa. Dear sister of Ken Maeck (Sheila). Fondly remembered by her nieces, nephews and friends in The area. Family will receive visitors at the Opatovsky Funeral Home-Moore Chapel, 9 Paget Street Sundridge on Thursday February 25, 2010 from 1-3 P.M. A service to celebrate the life of the late Mrs. Ida Sohm will be conducted in the chapel on Thursday February 25, 2010 at 3:00 P.M. with the Pastor Rick Callery officiating. Spring interment at the Deer Lake Cemetery in Lount Township. If desired, memorial donations to the Heart and Stroke Foundation would be sincerely appreciated by the family.
