Helen Phillips

Helen passed away peacefully surrounded by loved ones at Muskoka Landing Long Term Care in Huntsville on Tuesday, February 11, 2025, she was in her 85th year. Predeceased by parents Donat and Blanche Tremblay. Beloved wife of the late James “Jim” Phillips. Proud mother of Raymond, Brenda (Carl), Linda (Keith), Sharon (Rob) and the late Wesley. Proud grandmother of Matthew, Michelle, Bradley, Christina, Melissa, Anthony, Tanicia, Jordan and the late Carl Jr. Great grandmother of Louis, Freddie, Olivia, Indie, Jude, Jasmine, Caden, Cillian, Caleigha, Cooper, Riley. Helene is survived by her siblings Wilfred (Flora), Edmond (Nancy), Florence (Burt), Alva (Fred), Zephyr and predeceased by Irene, Therese, Emil, Leo, and Ronald. She will be lovingly remembered by many nieces, nephews, extended family and friends

Cremation has taken place at Forest Lawn Crematorium. Family will receive friends on Saturday, March 1, 2025 from 12 noon until the time of the Memorial Service at 1:00 pm at Opatovsky Funeral Home- Dempster Chapel. If desired, donations to the Canadian Diabetes Association or Canadian Cancer Society would be gratefully acknowledged as expressions of sympathy.
