MRS. HAZEL MAY TOTTEN Of Port Elgin and formerly of Sundridge Peacefully at the South Hampton Hospital on Monday November 2, 2009 at the age of 89 years. Hazel Totten, beloved wife of the late Jim Totten. Loving mother of Linda Taylor (Murray) of Edmonton and Terry Totten of Port Elgin. Cherished grandmother of Carina Miller-Stephen (Chris) and great grandmother of Connor, Colton and Cora Lee. Dear sister of Earl Botting of Huntsville and Edith Epema of Windsor. Predeceased by her eight brothers and sisters. Fondly remembered by her many nieces, nephews and friends in the area and her beloved cat Casey. Family will receive visitors at the Opatovsky Funeral Home - Moore Chapel, 9 Paget Street, Sundridge on Friday November 6, 2009 from 12 noon - 2:00 P.M. A service to celebrate the life of the late Mrs. Totten will be conducted in the chapel on Friday November 6, 2009 at 2:00 P.M. with the Reverend Rick Callery officiating. Interment at the Strong Cemetery, Sundridge. If desired, memorial donations to the Canadian Diabetes Association would be sincerely appreciated by the family.
