MRS. HAZEL JOINER (nee Armstrong) of Sprucedale Peacefully at her home on Thursday October 3, 2013. Mrs. Hazel Joiner, beloved wife of the late Harold Joiner, was in her 88th year. Dear mother of Paul (Marcia) and Peter Joiner. Proud grandmother of Chris (Kim), Scott (Brieanne), Ryan (Jenn), Lindsay (Greg) and Jennifer. Great grandmother of Brett, Haileigh, Brooklyn, Matthew, Ella, Sydney, Jacob and Alexiene. Hazel is survived by her sisters; JoAnne Whitmell (Carl), Ruth Tait (Gordon) and will be fondly remembered by all of her family and friends. The family will receive visitors at the Sprucedale United Church in Sprucedale on Saturday October 5, 2013 from 1 to 3 p.m. A service to celebrate the life of the late Mrs. Joiner will be conducted in the church commencing at 3:00 p.m. on Saturday October 5, 2013 with Reverend Nina Fulford officiating. Interment in the Sprucedale Cemetery. Arrangements have been entrusted to the Opatovsky Funeral Home-Dempster Chapel, 210 Ontario Street in Burk's Falls. If desired, memorial donations to the Sprucedale United Church would be sincerely appreciated by the family.
