MR. HARVEY W. SMITH of Burk's Falls Peacefully at South Haven Nursing Home in Huntsville on Friday July 3, 2009. Mr. Harvey Smith was in his 91st year. Beloved husband of the late Jean Smith (nee Leggett). Dear father of Barry (Karen), Bev Shennan (Robert) and Darlene Russell (Ron). Loving grandfather of Irwin (Leann), Carol-Lynn (Brian), Ronda (Scott), Dawn, Sherry (Brian), Kelly (Mark), Patrick (Jennifer), Derek (Donna), Kim (Wes). Great grandfather to Brianna, Brittany, Caitlyn, Rebecca, Matthew, Tyler, Cody, Mason and Chase. Brother to Verda Carney, Cecile Gilpin, Violet Prince, Doris Peckham, Orla, Ray and Ronnie Smith. Harvey will be fondly remembered by all his family and friends. The family will receive visitors at the Opatovsky Funeral Home-Dempster Chapel, 210 Ontario Street in Burk's Falls on Sunday July 5, 2009 from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. A service to celebrate the life of the late Mr. Smith will be conducted in St. Andrew's Presbyterian Church in Burk's Falls commencing at 11:00 a.m. on Monday July 6, 2009. Reverends Graham and Freda MacDonald officiating. Interment in Burk's Falls Cemetery. If desired, donations to St. Andrew's Presbyterian Church or the Heart and Stroke Foundation would be sincerely appreciated by the family.
