MR. HARRY STEVEN THORNE of Parry Sound, formerly of South River and Toronto Peacefully at the West Parry Sound Health Centre on Thursday August 14, 2014 in his 48th year. Harry Thorne, loving father of Michaela Ball. Dear son of Effie Thorne (nee Page) and the late Arnold Thorne. Cherished brother of Edna Basso, Orville Folliott and predeceased by brothers Larry and Garry and sisters Gloria and Lois. Fondly remembered by his 8 nieces and nephews, 9 great nieces and great nephews and 1 great great niece, along with his many other relatives and friends. Family will receive visitors at the Opatovsky Funeral Home-Moore Chapel, 9 Paget Street in Sundridge on Friday August 15, 2014 from 6 to 9 p.m. and on Saturday August 16, 2014 from 12 p.m. until 2 p.m. A service to celebrate the life of the late Harry Thorne will be conducted in the chapel on Saturday August 16, 2014 at 2:00 p.m. with Mr. Steve May officiating. Interment in the Siloam Cemetery in Machar Township. If desired, memorial donations to Hospice West Parry Sound would be sincerely appreciated by the family.
