HAROLD "KNOBBY" HILL Of Sundridge Peacefully surrounded by his family at the North Bay Regional Health Centre on Sunday October 20, 2013 in his 91st year. Harold Hill, beloved husband of the late Iris Hill (nee Rowley). Dear father of Elaine Hall (Jim) of North Bay and Frank Hill (Mary-Lou) of Sundridge. Loving grandfather of Tim (Jenn), Chris (Amanda), Drew, Sheena and great grandfather of Carson, Connor, Finlay and Reid. Fondly remembered by Sheila and Wilf Wilson and family, his many nieces, nephews, cousins and friends. Predeceased by brothers Bert, Lawrence, Arnold, Dalton, Cletus and Keith. Family will receive visitors at the Opatovsky Funeral Home-Moore Chapel, 9 Paget Street in Sundridge on Friday October 25, 2013 from 2-4 and 7-9 P.M. Members of the Sundridge Royal Canadian Legion Branch #467 will gather in the chapel for a tribute service on Friday evening at 6:30. A service to celebrate the life of the late Harold Hill will be conducted in the chapel on Saturday October 26, 2013 at 11:00 A.M. with the Reverend Lori Campbell officiating. Interment at the Strong Cemetery in Sundridge. If desired, memorial donations to the Multiple Sclerosis Society, the Crohn's and Colitis Foundation, the Canadian Diabetes Association or the Heart and Stroke Foundation would be sincerely appreciated by the family.
