MRS. GWENDOLYN NADINE JENKINS Of Burk's Falls, formerly of Novar Peacefully at Eastholme in Powassan on Thursday October 8, 2009 in her 82nd year. Gwen Jenkins (nee Seaton), beloved wife of Logan Jenkins of Burk's Falls. Dear mother of Warren (Marg), Arlene Goyea (Jim Ward), Nadine Chartrand (Kevin), Nancy Ennest (late John), Ruth Brown (Jim), Hugh (Wendy), Kelly (Janet), James (Cathy Hall) and mother-in-law of Barb Jenkins. Loving grandmother to her many grandchildren and great grandchildren. Cherished sister-in-law of Anne. Fondly remembered by her nieces, nephews and many other relatives and friends. Predeceased by sons Terry and Michael, brother Don, sister Marilyn, son-in-law Roland and daughter-in-law Karen. Family will receive visitors at the Opatovsky Funeral Home-Dempster Chapel, 210 Ontario Street, Burk's Falls on Saturday October 10, 2009 from 2-4 and 7-9 P.M. A service to celebrate the life of the late Mrs. Gwen Jenkins will be conducted at the Bethel Pentecostal Tabernacle in Huntsville on Sunday October 11, 2009 at 2:30 P.M. with the Pastor Lionel Miles officiating. Interment at the St. Andrews United Church Cemetery in Novar. If desired, memorial donations to the Heart and Stroke Foundation or the Canadian Diabetes Association would be sincerely appreciated by the family.
