GREGORY JOHN WILSON
Greg's greatest pride and joy was his family! His strength was unlike anything else. Every day even to his last, he was determined to fight for more time because he was fighting for time with his family. He lived for teaching his grandchildren how to fish, attending their hockey games, campfires and last supper fish fries at Manor Park. Lake Cecebe held his heart like no other place, so it seems only fitting that, on August 1, 2019, at the age of 64, in the early morning while at the cottage, he swiftly passed. His sweetheart Karen (Biletchi), wife of 46 years this past May, was by his side. He was the father of three beautiful children and their spouses, Michael (Sarra), Robb (Christopher), Monica (Adam). Endlessly loved by Papa were his grandchildren Mia, Sadie, Finn, Paxton and Mason. He is survived by his mother Bernice Wilson, siblings, Clarke, Dan (Rose), Fay (Derrick), Pat (Brenda), brother-in-law Dave Biletchi (Kim). They will all remember how he would have done anything for anyone. He is also remembered by ten nieces and nephews. He now joins his parents-in-law Dan and Anne Biletchi. We are sure he is now fishing with, John, Denny, and Uncle Bill. He worked for Nabisco/Kraft his whole career till his retirement in 2015. His family wishes to thank Dr. Tharmabala, Dr. Hann, Dr. Connolly, Dr. Thiab and Jenn. Cremation has taken place. This was followed by a week of family celebrating and remembering him at the cottage, just the way he would have wanted. Family and friends are invited to remember Greg, at a Celebration of Life, on Wednesday, August 21st, from 4 p.m. - 8 p.m., at the Falls View Hose Brigade, 5786 Dunn Street, Niagara Falls, ON. Donations, in memory of Greg Wilson, to jumpstart.canadiantire.ca, would be appreciated by his family.
