MR. GORDON ALLEN HOLMAN Of Lake Cecebe Peacefully at Algonquin Grace Hospice in Huntsville on Tuesday February 12, 2013. Mr. Gordon Holman, beloved husband of Ruth, was in his 92nd year. Dear father of Marlene Williams (Laurie), Joanne Holman (Ted Calder) and Eric Holman (Mary Anne). Step-father of Jennifer Coombs (Kevin) and Mark Brown. Cherished grandfather of many grandchildren and great grandchildren. Gordon was a veteran of WWII and a Toronto Firefighter; Fire Chief and Captain for over 40 years. The family will receive visitors at the Opatovsky Funeral Home-Dempster Chapel, 210 Ontario Street in Burk's Falls on Sunday February 24, 2013 from 12:00 p.m. until the time of service. A service to celebrate the life of the late Mr. Gordon Holman will be conducted in the chapel commencing at 1:00 p.m. on Sunday February 24, 2013 with David Opatovsky officiating. If desired, memorial donations to the Algonquin Grace Hospice would be sincerely appreciated by the family.
