MISS GLORIA HENRIETTA HICKS of Toronto and formerly of Magnetawan Suddenly at her home in Toronto on Thursday October 24, 2013 in her 61st year. Gloria Hicks, beloved daughter of Elva Hicks of Magnetawan and the late James Hicks. Dear sister of Linda Hicks, Gerald Hicks (Lois), Robert Hicks (Deborah) and the late Brian Hicks. Dear aunt of James (Joanna), Heather (Miguel), Steven, Christopher (Shawna), Joy-Ann (Daniel), Johnathan (Tabitha), Melissa, Lisa and great aunt of 11 great nieces and great nephews. Fondly remembered by her cousins, other relatives and friends. Family will receive visitors at the Opatovsky Funeral Home - Moore Chapel, 9 Paget Street in Sundridge on Friday November 1, 2013 from 7-9 P.M. A service to celebrate the life of the late Gloria Hicks will be conducted at the Chapman Valley Gospel Hall on Highway 124 on Saturday November 2, 2013 at 1:00 P.M. with Mr. Fred Krauss officiating. Interment at the Chapman Valley Cemetery in Magnetawan, Ontario. If desired, memorial donations to the charity of your choice would be sincerely appreciated by the family.
