MRS. GLADYS MAISIE RANEY Of Sundridge Peacefully at the Huntsville District Memorial Hospital on Friday December 17, 2010 in her 92nd year. Gladys Raney (nee Morrison) will be lovingly remembered by her sons Maurice (Lorna), Wesley (late Kathleen) and Albert (Jackie). Dear grandmother of Paul, Mark, Tim, Christine, Heather, Rosemary, Allan, Richard, Cheryl, Jo-Anne, John, Dave and their spouses, 27 great grandchildren and 6 great great grandchildren. Cherished sister of Ann and Vera and predeceased by brothers; Gordon, Percy, Allan, Albert and sisters; Lillian, Dorothy and Marjorie. Fondly remembered by her many nieces, nephews and friends. Family will receive visitors at the Opatovsky Funeral Home-Moore Chapel, 9 Paget Street, Sundridge on Monday December 20, 2010 from 2-4 and 7-9 P.M. A service to celebrate the life of the late Mrs. Gladys Raney will be conducted in the chapel on Tuesday December 21, 2010 at 11:00 A.M. with the Pastor Norm Strongman officiating. Spring interment at the Strong Cemetery, Sundridge. If desired, memorial donations to the Canadian Bible Society or the Gideons would be sincerely appreciated by the family.
