Gladys Niemi

MRS. GLADYS NIEMI (nee Marshall) of Sprucedale Peacefully at Lady Isabelle Nursing Home in Trout Creek on Friday July 11, 2014. Mrs. Gladys Niemi, beloved wife of the late Karl Niemi, was in her 93rd year. Loving mother of Sharon (Ken Hartwick), Garry, Dennis, Ray and Ken (Marybeth). Gladys is predeceased by her daughter Gail (Harvey Mulligan) and daughter in law Gale Niemi. Proud grandmother of 15 grandchildren and 18 great grandchildren. Gladys is survived by her siblings: Evelyn Webster, Fred Marshall (Donna), Henry Marshall (Peggy), Hazel Bolt (late Bill), Elsie Brown (Dave) and predeceased by brothers: Lawrence, Clarence, Ward and Carl Marshall The family will receive visitors at the Sprucedale United Church in Sprucedale on Tuesday July 15, 2014 from 11:00 a.m. until 1:00 p.m. A service to celebrate the life of the late Mrs. Gladys Niemi will follow at 1:00 p.m. in the church with Reverend Donna Bowman-Woodall officiating. Interment in the Sprucedale Cemetery. If desired, memorial donations to the Sprucedale United Church or a charity of your choice would be sincerely appreciated.
