MR. GEORGE RICHARD JENNE "Dick" "Doodle" Of Magnetawan It is with extreme sadness that we announce the passing of a beloved husband, father, stepfather, grandfather and great grandfather. A courageous survivor of cancer in 2009, Dick continued to pursue his life outdoors - which he loved, with his pals Maggie and Cassie. A recurrence of his cancer struck him down prematurely on Saturday October 15, 2011 despite his valiant struggle and quiet perseverance, through the tears of our grief we say goodbye to a truly wonderful man. Left to mourn is his devoted wife, Gayle, his sister Pat and brother Jack, daughters Kim, Kelly (Mike) and Jody (Mike), stepchildren Greg, Noelle (Sandi), Christian (Tracy) and Heidi (Carlos), grandchildren Jamie, Grainger, Michael, Ashley, Steven, Jennifer and Callie, great grandchildren Madison, Chase and Carson. Deeply loved and fondly remembered by Isobel, Gord, Pat, Bev, Shannon, Mark, Dave, Marilyn, Dezaray, Jett, Becky, and his entire extended family. "Auntie Dick" to Kasey and Ashley. Lonely is our home without you, Life to me is not the same, All this world would be like Heaven, To have you back again. A service to celebrate the life of the late Dick Jenne will be conducted at the Opatovsky Funeral Home-Dempster Chapel, 210 Ontario Street in Burk's Falls commencing at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday October 29, 2011 with Pastor Richard McQuillin officiating. If desired, a donation in memory of Dick to your local animal shelter or Humane Society would be sincerely appreciated by the family.
