MR. GERHARD FALKENTHAL "Gary" of Burk's Falls Suddenly at his residence on Friday July 7, 2017. Gary Falkenthal was 76 years of age. Dear father of David and Steven (Alicia). Proud Opa of Noah and Jonas. Gary will be fondly remembered by Karin Falkenthal and all of his family, friends and neighbours. Gary was a proud Canadian, he immigrated to Canada in 1966 and was thrilled to see Canada turn 150. The family will receive visitors at the Opatovsky Funeral Home-Dempster Chapel, 210 Ontario Street in Burk's Falls on Friday July 21, 2017 from 6 to 8 p.m. and on Saturday July 22, 2017 from 12 p.m. until time of service. A service to celebrate Gary's life will be conducted in the chapel commencing at 1:00 p.m. on Saturday July 22, 2017 with David Woodall officiating. If desired, memorial donations to the Nature Conservancy of Canada would be sincerely appreciated by the family.
