FRANCINE PORTER "Franny" of Katrine Peacefully at Huntsville District Memorial Hospital on Friday December 8, 2017. Franny Porter, beloved wife of Randy Porter, was in her 61st year. Loving mother of Monica Enderlin (Luke Johnstone) and Francis Porter (Kimberly). Proud grandmother of Drake and one on the way (Gremlin). Dear daughter of Frances and the late Herbert Gohm. Franny is survived by her brothers: Mel (Linda), Allan (Barb), Archie (late Ralphie), predeceased by brother David and will be fondly remembered by all of her family and friends. A celebration of Franny's life will be held at the Novar Community Centre, 25 Laurie Street in Novar on Saturday January 20, 2018 from 1 to 4 p.m. Arrangements have be entrusted to the Opatovsky Funeral Home-Dempster Chapel, 210 Ontario Street in Burk's Falls. If desired, memorial donations to the Canadian Cancer Society would be sincerely appreciated by the family.
