MR. FLOYD JOHN WALKER (of South River) Peacefully at the North Bay Regional Health Centre on Wednesday May 11, 2011 in his 72nd year. Floyd Walker, beloved husband of Janet Walker (nee Shantz) of South River. Dear father of Dave Walker (Angela) of Milton and Diana Guay (Dan) of North Bay. Loving grandfather of Brady Walker. Cherished brother of Bill Walker (Pat), Jim Walker (Evelyn) and Barb Hall. Fondly remembered by his nieces, nephews and many other relatives and friends. Family will receive visitors at the Opatovsky Funeral Home - Moore Chapel, 9 Paget Street, Sundridge on Friday May 13, 2011 from 7-9 P.M. A service to celebrate the life of the late Mr. Floyd Walker will be conducted in the chapel on Saturday May 14, 2011 at 1:00 P.M. with the Pastor Rick Callery officiating. Interment at the Strong Cemetery, Sundridge. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations to the Heart and Stroke Foundation or the Alzheimer Society would be sincerely appreciated by the family.
