Peacefully at Algonquin Grace Hospice in Huntsville on Wednesday October 13, 2021. Ethel, beloved wife of the late Gilbert, was in her 101st year.
Dear mother of Dennis Hopcraft (Teresa), Joy Wilson (Wayne) and Sue McBride (Guy).
Proud grandmother of Matt (Amanda), Caitlin (Kurt) and Devin (Caitlin).
Precious GG of Julia, Madelyn and Ethan.
Predeceased by her parents: Beatrice and William Ruthven and siblings: Edna, Charlie, Vernon, Edgar and Bill.
Ethel will be fondly remembered by her many nieces, nephews, other family, and friends.
The family will receive visitors at Knox Presbyterian Church in Sundridge on Wednesday October 20, 2021, from 11am until 1 pm.
A service to celebrate Ethel’s life will follow in the church commencing at 1:00 pm with Reverend Steven Smith officiating.
Interment in Strong Cemetery.
If desired, memorial donations to the Algonquin Grace Hospice, Sundridge Food Bank or Knox Presbyterian Church would be sincerely appreciated by the family.
The family would like to thank all the staff at Algonquin Grace Hospice for their dedication and care, it is gratefully appreciated.
Arrangements have been entrusted to the Opatovsky Funeral Home-Moore Chapel, Sundridge.
